Dr. Meagan Wood - Veterinarian

Dr. Meagan Wood grew up in Reno, Nevada and completed her undergraduate education at the University of Nevada, Reno.

She moved to Manhattan, Kansas to complete her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine degree at Kansas State University. During her time in veterinary school, Dr. Wood completed multiple externships with Zoos, Wildlife Centers, and an Elephant Sanctuary in Thailand. She then completed extra training as a Small Animal Rotating Intern at K-State, and then an Exotic Animal Specialty Internship at Neel Veterinary Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Dr. Wood has a special interest in Exotic Animal Medicine, and is also happy to see your dogs and cats!

Dr. Wood and her husband have an American Eskimo Dog named Winry and a rescued Dutch Rabbit named Brodie. In her free time. Dr. Wood loves to run, read, and attend to her garden.
